Research

SuperMET is working on the development of novel sustainable zero liquid discharge processes and circular hydrometallurgy that aim to minimize the generation of effluents and freshwater intakes in the mineral and metal processing industry. Areas of focus include:

1. effluent treatment to recover clean water with simultaneous CO2 storage, and

2. metal recovery and recycling from primary and secondary resources.
